Terms of Service — Singapore

Republic of Singapore · Last updated April 19, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Courtizy in Singapore, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms supplement and prevail over our default Terms where there is a conflict.

2. Description of Service

Courtizy operates a multi-tenant SaaS booking platform for sport and leisure venues registered in Singapore. The platform is operated under Singapore's Electronic Transactions Act and other applicable laws.

3. Accounts

Account holders must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent. Tenants must provide a valid UEN (or NRIC for sole proprietors) during onboarding.

4. Payments, GST and Refunds

All Courtizy plan prices are exclusive of GST. GST at the prevailing rate (currently 9%) is added on top for GST-registered tenants and itemised on invoices. Refunds for bookings are governed by the individual venue's cancellation policy. Platform subscription fees are refundable on a pro-rated basis within 30 days of launch.

5. Payment Processing

Payments in Singapore are processed by Stripe Singapore Pte Ltd. By using the service you authorise Courtizy to share booking and customer data with Stripe as required to complete transactions, in accordance with Stripe's terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use Courtizy to host illegal content, harass other users, attempt to circumvent security controls, or compete directly with the platform using scraped data. Violations may also be reported to the Singapore authorities.

7. Intellectual Property

Courtizy and its underlying software are owned by the company. Tenant content (logos, copy, photos) remains the property of the tenant.

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act or any other Singapore consumer-protection legislation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Singapore law, Courtizy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in accordance with the SIAC Rules.
